Mission Vision:

IMP was founded by Northeastern US medical school deans and a leading cosmetic surgeon to provide rapid, effective transfer of advanced medical education and specialty content to experienced international healthcare personnel facing challenging circumstances. The vision was born out of the practical inefficiencies they themselves experienced in their broad and prolonged participation in traditional medical exchange and international relief activities. Their belief was that existing technologies and practices could be harnessed, or better harnessed, to serve the particular and custom needs of each country and program effort objective. Furthermore, this should result in drastically reducing travel time, scheduling demands and complications for such highly trained and valuable personnel, and reduce travel costs. The net result is better accomplishing medical knowledge transfer with fewer resources preserving budgets for more substantive content needs versus peripheral travel and delivery costs.

International Medical Programs, Inc.’s Capabilities:

Innovative ‘pyramid’ of advanced medical education content development to accelerate knowledge transfer from US/Western experts to experienced medical professionals (physicians, nurses, public health workers and NGOs) adapted to unique local needs, circumstances and limitations. In compressed but substantive fashion this establishes knowledge base tailored to target country/region and audience/participants. Organizes detailed review and instruction of advanced techniques and protocols specifically appropriate to applicable country physician or other health professional audience. Emphasis is on content development relevant to their needs and circumstances.

Innovative use of live interactive broadcasts and dissemination across borders for regional application transcending language, culture and medical traditions. Coverage on live interactive sessions ranges from basic to expert level with allowance for interactive discussion of emerging medical and scientific developments of relevance and interest to target country medical audience.

Advanced medical education content & program conceptual formulation, design, curriculum build, production and execution. Highly integrated approach to telemedicine content design and delivery so that mediums and modes of delivery support and leverage content and program objectives, not inhibit or frustrate such.

Healthcare management and program content development including public health financial administration project execution and management over broad national and geographic coverage.
